Who I am and what I believe

I’ve spent the majority of my life in Idaho, and Valley County has long been part of my story. My family moved to Idaho when I was four years old, leaving California to build a life rooted in hard work and opportunity. I was raised in Eagle, Idaho, where my father worked as a welder and my mother served our community as a social worker while continuing her education at Boise State University. Growing up, I learned the value of responsibility, self-reliance, and looking out for others — lessons that have stayed with me.
Some of my earliest memories are of time spent in McCall with family friends. Those weekends in the mountains left a lasting impression and eventually led me to make Valley County my home for over a decade now.
Professionally, I’ve built a career in logistics and operations, working in roles that require planning, accountability, and sound decision-making. I’ve also owned and grown small businesses, which has given me a practical understanding of what it takes to operate responsibly, meet payroll, and adapt to changing conditions. That experience shapes how I think about local government — focused on efficiency, long-term planning, and respect for taxpayers.
Service has always been important to me. I’ve volunteered locally through organizations such as Toys for Tots, helping organize events and supporting families. I believe strong communities are built when people step up and contribute where they can.
I’m running for Valley County Commissioner because I want to bring steady, common-sense leadership to county government — leadership that reflects Idaho values, respects local voices, and takes the responsibility of the office seriously. County decisions around housing, roads, and growth affect everyday life here, and they deserve careful thought, transparency, and balance.
My goal is to help ensure Valley County remains a place where people who live and work here can continue to build their lives — today and for the next generation.
